No. 1 Soccer Camps Signs Deal with German Soccer Camp
No.1 Soccer Camps is pleased to announce a long term relationship with the top German Soccer Camp “Fussball Ferienschulen” (FF) (www.fussball-ferienschule.de) sponsored by the Thüringen Football Association (TFB). See Press Release.
In a joint statement, No.1’s Director Joe Machnik and Boris Kalff of the Fussball Ferienschulen announced not only the long term relationship but immediate plans to provide soccer camping opportunities for German players and coaches to come to the United States but also for No. 1 Soccer Campers to travel to Germany, accompanied by No.1 Staff to participate with German players and coaches in a unique international exchange which is sure to provide life time memories.
While plans are just now crystallizing and will soon appear on each camp’s web page, this much is now known:
The first international exchange will take place this August when a “Team” of eleven No.1 Campers will depart NY’s JFK airport (8/19) for Frankfurt, Germany accompanied by at least two No.1 Staff. The players will be transported to their German training ground ( see FFs web page for details including photos) by local transport and be served lunch prior to start of camp ( 8/20 ). The camp will run for five days and four nights and will include a rigorous training schedule and housing in a deluxe training facility. Camp ends with lunch on 8/24 and local transportation back to the Frankfurt airport. The all inclusive price excluding domestic travel to JFK and the international flight is $500US
Current round trip fare on Delta from JFK to Frankfurt is $868.
No.1 and its German counterpart are currently working on the possibility of an international group fare.
